Sybase providing early access to database for Mac developers

SYBASE ON MONDAY announced its Apple Early Adopter Program for ASE (Adaptive Server Enterprise), which provides free use of its ASE 12.5 database on the Mac OS X platform. Users also get free newsgroup support from July 17 until the product ships in September, Sybase said. According to the company, Sybase ASE 12.5 is the first major enterprise-class relational database available to Mac developers. ASE 12.5 features Java and XML support for Mac developers.
